Humanoid Robot Repairs Pty Ltd — humanoidrr.com

Effective Date: 1 February 2025  |  Last Updated: 1 February 2025  |  Version 1.0

HRR's warranty terms apply to all repair and maintenance work performed at any HRR service centre or on-site by HRR technicians. They supplement, and do not limit, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

1. Workmanship Warranty

HUMANOID Robot Repairs warrants all repair and maintenance work performed by its technicians against defects in workmanship for a period of six (6) months from the date of job completion as recorded on your service receipt.

If, within the warranty period, a fault that is directly attributable to the work performed by HRR recurs or emerges, HRR will re-perform the relevant work at no additional charge. This warranty is transferable to a new owner if the device is sold within the warranty period, provided that the original service receipt is available.

2. Parts Warranty

Components and parts supplied and installed by HRR carry the following warranty coverage:

  • Genuine OEM parts: Covered by the manufacturer's warranty, which HRR will assist you to claim where applicable. Typically 12 months.
  • HRR-certified aftermarket parts: Warranted by HRR for six (6) months against manufacturing defects.
  • Customer-supplied parts: No warranty provided by HRR on the part itself. Workmanship warranty applies to the installation only.

3. Exclusions

The HRR workmanship warranty does not cover:

  • Faults unrelated to the work performed in the relevant job
  • Damage caused by misuse, accidental damage, liquid ingress, or exposure to conditions outside the manufacturer's operating specifications
  • Damage resulting from unauthorised modifications or repairs performed after the HRR service
  • Normal wear and tear of components, including actuators, joints, and battery systems
  • Software or firmware issues arising from updates applied by the manufacturer or the customer after the service date
  • Damage caused by the device's own actions following return to the customer
  • Cosmetic issues that do not affect the function of the device

4. Making a Warranty Claim

To make a warranty claim, contact the HRR service centre that performed the original work, or call 1300 477 287. You will need to provide:

  • Your original service receipt or job reference number
  • A description of the fault or issue that has recurred
  • The device, available for inspection at an HRR location or by arrangement for on-site assessment

HRR will assess the warranty claim and notify you within 2 business days of receiving the device whether the claim is accepted. Accepted warranty work will be completed within a timeframe agreed with you at the time of assessment. If the claim is declined, HRR will provide a written explanation and a quote for any remedial work if applicable.

5. Australian Consumer Law

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with a service, you are entitled to a refund and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the failure rectified in a reasonable time. If this is not done, you are entitled to a refund for the part of the price paid for the service and compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

6. Enterprise Clients

Enterprise service contracts may specify different warranty periods, response time commitments for warranty claims, and escalation procedures. In the event of conflict between these Warranty Terms and an executed enterprise service contract, the terms of the service contract shall prevail.
